Character Background

The character Goomba was forenamed after an iconic enemy present in the Mario series. It has appeared as the Game Boy emulator. Initially, with the implementation of the project, the only motive was to spread fun to the audience with the character’s captivation as the GB games were already played, but now Goomba was a twisted character. However, with the releasing of Nintendo and Game Boy Micro, Goomba captured success with popularity due to the character’s features.

Captain Goomba

Among the wide-ranged Goomba characters Captain Goomba is on of the most favorite and recognized. The character is an oversized version, appeared in Mario Party- exactly at the conclusion of Goomba’s Booty Boardwalk. As the name already indicates, he is the captain of an on-going ship, accompanied with few characters along the journey. Moreover, every assigned character is provided with a star by Captain Goomba.

When it is concerning Star Battle, the star is awarded to only those characters that are able to collect 50 points. This precisely states that the key to win over the battle is the awarded star. In case, any character fails to achieve 50 points or remains with less than 50 points then Captain Goomba commands to start off the track all over again.

Furthermore, Captain Goomba also has a group of Pirate Goombas, which are highlighted because of their green pirate bandannas. Moreover, they also show up in the conclusion of Goomba’s Booty Sidewalk to attain stars. The most interesting part goes, when the Pirate Gombas create obstacles for new characters to meet Captain Goomba. Firstly they declare they are not permitted to gain entrance. However, upon such rude declaration, the Pirate Goombas promptly covers the character leaving no space to escape, and then the character is loaded inside a cannon, and transferred back to the starting point.

Goomba plush toys are rare because they have never been sold in shops. Some of them have been used as prizes in Japanese arcade game halls for a limited time. At the moment I’m writing this there is one vintage Super Mario Goomba soft toy available at Yukari’s Kawaii Shop.
