Produced by the Japanese company- San-X- Monokuro Boo are animated characters. Their initial appearance in the market was in 2005, when the company licensed the character along with other gifting items. Furthermore, Monokuro was certified under RM Enterprises Ltd, who is officially given the responsibility for promoting as well as developing the marketing of the character across Asia, along with other intercontinental markets.

Concept behind the Character

Initially when the character was composed, it was not named Monokuro Boo, instead it was fixed as Monotone, where “Mono” stated the color black and white, and “ton” simply indicated pig. However, the design creator somehow struck the idea of white and black pig character.

Following the long discussion, San-X finally agreed and the present name o the character was settles. It was also because of the fact, that public will love colorful characters.

Appearance

The fresh and neutral characters- Monokuro Boo- are made up of two pigs, with ones colored in black, whilst the other in white. The square shaped designed bodies are welcomed by plenty of consumers.

On a closer note, the pigs have dots for pointing eyes, a nose, and the appearance given a complete touch with mischievous curry tail fixed to the back.
